Hedging our bets - Ladies' Wimbledon

I am all too aware that I have suggested bets on five different women to win Wimbledon. However two of our outsiders are the favourites to come through to meet in the semi in the top half of the draw.

I have had a hedge bet today on neither of them winning. I suggest you should only have the following bet if you have had:

AND you have also had:

3pt win double MaKiri to beat Aga and Lisicki to beat Kerber @ 10/3 and 13/8 with Ladbrokes

Ladbrokes are slightly below the best odds but the result stands in these matches if one point is played unlike most other bookmakers. The double pays just over 10/1. Of course there is every possibility that only one of our favs will go through. However unless something unforeseen happens Aga would be fav to beat Lisicki and Kerber would be fav to beat MaKiri so if either of those two possibilities arise we will probably look to save some stakes on the underdog.

In the bottom half of the draw we have no interest in SW v PK but in the other match we have:

So this boils down to 33/1 to get past Aza. No hedge opportunity here though as Vika is 1/5 to get past the Austrian. A watch and hope job.
